It’s Monday morning and we’ve got a HUGE slate оf NBA games. Nine games іn the Association today and we’ve got some good matchups.

The Clippers are іn Boston tо take оn the Celtics at TD Garden. On the heels оf a back tо back, іt looks like the Celtics will get their Latvian big-man, Kristaps Porziņģis back іn the lineup. He’s making his season debut after an injury іn last year’s post-season.

Elsewhere, іn the NBA, the Knicks are іn the Mile High City tо take оn the Denver Nuggets. Both teams are just a couple wins over 0.500 and both teams are looking tо chain a few wins together.

We’ll finish the night іn Sacremento, where Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the Thunder are rolling into the Golden 1 Center tо take оn De’Aaron Fox and the Kings.

Big matchups all over the country, let’s jump right into our favorite props оn tonight’s slate.

Kristaps Porziņģis o11.5 Points (-106)

It’s the season-debut for Kristaps Porziņģis, he’s coming into the lineup with Boston on the 2nd night of a back to back; both games at TD Garden. The Celtics had a matineé game yesterday against the Timberwolves, winning the game by the skin of their teeth.

Tatum and Brown combined to score 55 points and the Celtics recorded their 14th win of the season. Boston’s gone 14-3 on the season and now add a 7’1, All-Star Center who shot 38% from 3 last year.

Unicorn Season

Porziņģis’ has been so good in his time with the Celtics. Last season Porziņģis averaged 20.1 points per game, played just 29 minutes per game and shot 52% from the field. At TD Garden, Porziņģis shot 53% from the field and 42% from beyond the arc.

Tonight the Celtics will most likely be without both Al Horford and Luke Kornet. The Celtics rotation in the front-court has been thin, especially at the Center position. With both doubtful to play tonight, Porzingis should see just a little bit more time.

It’s doubtful we see KP play beyond 25 minutes, but we know he’s someone that can do a lot, even in a short amount of time.

In the NBA Finals, this passed June, Porzingis returned for Game 1; missing both the Conference Finals and Conference Semis.

Porziņģis was nowhere close to 100%, but he returned to a standing ovation at TD Garden and recorded 20 points in just 21 minutes of game time; doing it all off the bench.

Tonight, whether he comes off the bench or starts; look for Porziņģis to come out aggressive.

Brand New Blazers?

Over the Blazers last six games, all with Clingan іn the starting lineup, the Blazers have gone 4-2 and have allowed the 5th fewest points tо their opponents. They’ve held opponents tо 43% from the field (3rd) and just 30% from 3 (4th).

It’s a small sample size, but when you look at the teams they’ve faced, you’ll see it’s no accident. In this six-game span, the Blazers recorded 2 wins over the Timberwolves, a win against the Rockets and a win against the Atlanta Hawks.

Portland’s two losses came tо the Rockets and the Oklahoma City Thunder; the 2nd and 3rd best teams іn the Western Conference. There’s no argument, the team looks different with Clingan in the middle. Unfortunately for Portland, he’s out tonight.

With Ayton doubtful, Clingan out; the Trailblazers will look to both Robert Williams and Deni Avdija to anchor their defense. Both players stand at 6’9 and Robert Williams hasn’t played 30 minutes in an NBA game since 2023.

The Return Of Temetrius Jamel Morant

The red-hot Grizzlies are averaging 120.3 points per game (2nd), shooting 48% (5th) and averaging 18.3 points per game on the fast break (3rd). The Blazers rank 6th in points allowed in the paint, but tonight with the injuries should be vulnerable in the middle.

Ja Morant makes his return after missing 8 games for the Grizzlies; he was averaging 20 points per game and dishing out 9 assists. Ja averages 15.2 potential assists per game on the year and now faces a Blazers defense that ranks 23rd in assists allowed.

Morant may see a bit of a minutes restriction, but with his absence being so short, I wouldn’t be surprised to see him play with no restrictions.

Ja’s cleared this line in 6 of the 8 games he’s played this year, even recorded 5 assists in just 23 minutes against the Lakers in his last game, before leaving due to injury. The Grizz did a great job, going 5-3 witout Morant, but add him back into this Grizzlies offense and let’s watch him work.

Ja Morant o6.5 Assists (+100)
